Carol Marcus was married to
Jack Levine before an altar of
white, banked with gold colors
and fall flowers, on Oct. 22, at
the Bel-Aire Terrace. Dr. Richard
C. Hertz officiated.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Ben Marcus, of Griggs Ave.,
wore a gown of white Italian silk,
adorned with seed pearls, and ex-
tending into a long train. A cap
of matching pearls and lace held
her three-tiered veil, and she
carried a prayer book with a cas-
cade of orchids.
The bride was attended by
Adrienne Harris, as maid of
honor, Mrs. Milton Lutchansky,
as matron of honor, and Sharon
Lober, Elaine Katz, and Sandra
Schoenfeld, as bridesmaids. Jun-
ior attendants were Donna Lober
and Ricky Lober.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Irving Levine, of Edison
Ave., was served by Warren
Jackson as best man, while
ushers included Alan Lober,
Keith Opperthauser, Milton Lut-
chansky and Alfred Lawson.

Women Exceed
'54 AK Income

For the first time in four years,
the Women's Division of the Jew-
ish Welfare Federation passed the
$500,000 mark, in pledges to the
1955 Campaign, John E. Lurie, '55
campaign chairman, announced.
He also noted that the profession-
al division had passed their '54
total by $20,000.
Listed on the books of the Wo-
men's Division for 1955-56 are
13,219 women who made gifts to
the campaign.
Other divisions in the campaign
are also at work finishing up the
job and the campaign figure is
fast approaching the predicted
total of $4,100,000, Lurie reported.
Mrs. Maurice Clamage has been
appointed chairman of the office
committee, Mrs. Daniels an-
nounced.

University of Michigan, and is
now studying at Wayne Univer-
sity. Dr. Fine is a graduate of
McGill University and the Uni-
versity of Montreal school of
medicine, and is presently pur-
suing post-graduate training at
Henry Ford Hospital.
