Joseph 'Stresses Israel's
Investment Capital Needs
NEW YORK (JTA) — Dr. Dov
Joseph expressed confidence here
that oil production in. Israel "will
play an important role in our
future economic development."
Here to participate in the Is-
rael bond campaign, Dr. Joseph
told a press conference that Israel
has an urgent need for an ac-
celerated flow of capital. He
stressed that this was particularly
important "now when . we are
confronted with a serious crisis
in our relations with some of our
neighbors."
He noted that Israel cannot

solve its problems "unless we

fied telephone hook-up Wednes-
day, Detroit bond leaders and
workers heard an impassioned -
plea for production development
dollars from Dr. Dov Joseph, Is-

who spoke from New York.

produced on the home front, a
fact necessitated by the possi-
bility of closed harbors and ship-

imposed if the present tension
continues and increases.
Over the same network, fol-
lowing Dr. Joseph, Abraham
Feinberg, president of Develop-
