"The World of Sholem Alei-
chem," which played to capacity

will receive its Detroit premier
at 8:30 p. m. Nov. 7 in the De-
troit Instituate of Arts, under
sponsorship of the Jewish Com-
munity Center.
Featured in the cast will be
Herschel Bernardi, Gilbert S.
Green, Fritzi Burr, Jack Bann-
ing, Marie Andrews and George
Tyne. The - play is dramatized
by Arnold Pen and directed by
Howard DaSilva. .
Bernardi and Banning played
original roles in the New York
run. The others have appeared in
numerous productions on Broad-
way and the Yiddish stage.
