Zionist Organization of America.
Racoosin left with the UJA Mis-
sion to North Africa and Israel
to study the problems confronting
Jewry in North Africa and to
meet with Israeli leaders to de-
termine the country's needs in
relation to the expected large
scale emigration from Morocco.

A gigantic variety show is cur-
rently being planned by the
Greater Detroit Bnai Brith
Women's Council to culminate
its fund-raising campaign for
$100,000.
The 6,000 women who are rep-
resented in 20 local chapters are
joining forces to assure the suc-
cess of the event, which is
scheduled for 8:30 p.m., Nov. 8,
at Masonic Temple.
Headlining the show will be
the Vagabonds, the comic, swing
quartet; comedian Dick Shawn,
violinist Maria Neglia, singer
June Valli, dancers Steve Condos
and Jerry Brandow and Glenn
Weaver and his orchestra,
Mrs. Henry P. Onrich, Council
president, announces that plans
for the show are under the chair-
manship of Mrs. Bernard Blie-
field. She is assisted by the
