Jakob Goldschmidt, Dies

NEW YORK (JTA) -Jakob
Goldschmidt, international finan-
cier, art collector and philanthro-
pist, died at his home here last
Friday. He was born in Germany
in 1882 and came to this counttry
in 1936.
A target of the Nazis even be-
fore they came to power in 1933,
Mr. Goldschmidt spent three
years in various European capi-
tals before coming to the U. S.
and becoming a citizen in 1944.

Mrs. Rose Lightstone Dies

Mrs. Rose Lightstone, 53, of

Fund, died Wednesday.

Mrs. Lightstone also was active

Surviving are her husband,
