The Turkish Jewish Community feted the chairman of the
Western Hemisphere Executive of the World Jewish Congress, Dr.
Israel Goldstein, during his recent visit there as part of a two-
month trip abroad to confer with Jewish leaders jn Israel, Yuga-
slavia, Greece and Turkey. Seen here (I. to r.) are: Mr. A. Aviydor,
president of the Istanbul Jewish Hospital, Mr. Marko Nassi, presi-
dent of the Lay Council of the Turkish Grand Rabbinate; the
Grand Rabbi of Turkey, Rafael Saban, and Dr. and Mrs. Israel
Goldstein. Earlier, the visitors were guests of honor at an-official
reception of the Istanbul Municipality.
