of several weeks with friends and relatives in Toronto, Canada.
Mrs. Harry Goldberg, of Hamilton Rd., and Mrs. Seymour Leib,
of Oxley Ct., left Monday for New York. From there, they will
leave by air the next day for an extended trip to Israel and the
French Riveria.
Mr. Frank Smith, of the Sheraton-Cadillac Hotel, left for New
York and from there flew to Israel. In New York he was joined by
Mrs. Smith who had been visiting with their daughter and son-
-in-law and grandchildren,• the A. Jack Gross', Gloria and Sol, of
Brooklyn.
Miss Ellen Haar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Menashe Haar, of
17601 Santa Barbara, has returned from a seven-week tour of
Europe.
Mr. and Mrs. Abe Duke and family, formerly of Clements Ave.
are now living in their new home at 21741 Cloverlawn, Oak Park,
Mich.
Pvt. Kenneth Molitz, of 16729 Woodingham, recently left for
Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., where he is stationed with the U.S. Army.
Recent Detroit guests at Oakton Manor Resort, Lake Pewau-
kee,, Wis., included Mrs. E. Abrams, Mr. A. Feldman, Mr. Norman
Weitz, Mr. K. Morris, Mrs. L. Sofferin, Mrs. R. Rochelle, Mr. Max
Rhinestone and Mr. Harry Rochelle.
Mrs. Aaron Kurland, of Huntinigton Woods, left this week for
a two-months' tour of Europe and a 10-day stay in Israel.
Rabbi and Mrs. Yaakov I. Homnick and family, formerly of
Coolidge Hwy., are now in their new home at 13440 Kenwood,
Oak Park, Mich.

Fay Rothbart, daughter of Dr. and
Mrs. H. B. Rothbart, of Birch-
crest Dr., became the bride of
Marvin H. Primack, son of Mr.
and Mrs. A. Primack of West
Grand, at a ceremony at the Sher-
aton Cadillac Hotel on -Sept. 4.
The bride wore an ivory gown
of silk taffeta and pearls, topped
by a finger tip illusion veil
secured by a pearl crown. She
carried a cascade of white orchids
and lillies. The maid of honor,
Miss Andrea- Rothbart, wore an
ice blue satin gown and carried
a bouquet of blue mums and
white fuigi. The bridemaid• were
Miss Nancy Godl, Mrs. Sidney
Baskin, Miss Lois Ash, and Miss
Nikki Moore.
- The best man was Verne Pri-
mack, brother of the bridegroom.
Ushering were Dr. Irwin Solomon,
Sidney, Baskin, Bruce Stiglitz,
Arnold Ruby, and Brian Rothbart.
A dinner and reception fol-
lowed in the Grand Ball Room.
After a New England honeymoon,
the couple will make their home
in Ann Arbor.

Sheplow, daughter of Mrs. J.
David Sheplow, 1032 So. Corning,
Los Angeles, formerly of Detroit,
became the bride of Nathan Stein,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Stein,
of Los Angeles, at a recent cere-
mony at Beth Jacob Temple,
Beverly Hills, Calif.
The new Mrs. Stein is a grad-
uate of Wayne University and Mr.
Stein is a graduate of U.C.L.A.
where he was a member of Sigma
Alpha Mu and Beta Gamma Sig-
ma honorary fraternity.
The couple made their home in
Los Angeles after a honeythoon
in Carmel and Monterey,

Helen Lerman, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Zeb Lerman, of Tyler
Ave., became the bride of Sam-
uel Edward Mintz in a recent
double-ring ceremony at Cong.
Bnai David. The bridegroom is
the son of Mrs. Adolphe Mintz,
of Elmhurst Ave.
Following the ceremony, a din-
ner and reception was held at
Bel-Aire Terrace.
The bride wore a waltz length
gown of lace appliqued over ny r
lon tulle. Her illusion veil fell
from a coronet of pleated tulle,

and she carried a Bible adorned
with white orchids and lillies of
the valley.
