MRS. RONALD R. HERMAN

Carrying a rose pointe lace
edged nosegay of lily of the val-
ley, pholonopsis, and trailing ivy
against the white Italian silk peau
de soie background of her tradi-
tional gown, Sharon Inez Lapides
was wed Aug. 15 to Ronald Ralph
Herman.
The bateau neckline and tiny
sleeves of the bride's gown, an
original by Gaston, was fash-
ioned of heirloom rose pointe
lace. From the simple molded
basque, the tiers of lace fell into
ca,scades on the floor length gown
that swept into a cathedral train.
Rows of orange blossoms, fitted
into a small cap, held the finger-
tip silk illusion veil.
The double-ring ceremony was
performed at Knollwood Country
Club. The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lapides.
The bridegroom's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Melvin Herman.
Preceding the bride to the altar
were the matron of honor, Mrs:
Charles Hyman, of Elyria, 0., her
cousin, and bridesmaids Nan
Scholnick, cousin of the bride,
and Susan Mann. Ann Stephanie
Meyers was her cousin's flower
girl.
T h e bridegroom's brother,
Baron Herman, was best man.
Harvey Lapides, brother of the
bride, was head usher. Guests
were seated by ushers Sheldon
Scholnick and Maxwell Lapides,
cousins of the bride, and Arthur
Behrmann and Robert Rosenberg,
