French Court Dismisses All -Charges
Against Catholics in Final y-Case

The Council adopted a resolu-
tion in opposition to the pro-
posed Bricker amendment, which
would change the United States'
treaty-making powers; stating
that adoption of such a proposal
would :
1. Make it practically impos-
sible for the United States to
ratify' the Genocide Convention
or any other effort to protect
human rights.
2. Impose needless delays and
weaken our bargaining position
in dealing with other nations.
Copies of the resolution were
sent to Sen. Patrick V. McNa-
mara and other Michigan Con-
gressmen in Washington.

phan., has finally been placed by
an Amsterdam court in the . care
of a non-religious Dutch family.
Fourteen-year-old Betty will re-
main with the family until she
is 21, after which she will be
free to choose her own religion.)
