Mothers' Clubs Picnic

The Jewish Community Center
Mothers' Clubs will hold a picnic
at Palmer Park, Wednesday, 12
noon. Members will meet at the
children's Wading pool. In the
event of rain, the picnic will be

Susan Friedman's engagement
to Stephen Neal Fishman has
been announced by her parents,
Dr. and Mrs. Andrew Friedman,

The couple attends the Uni-
versity of Michigan where Mr.
Fishman is affiliated with Tau

Labor Zionists Set
Sunday Date for
Cornerstone Event

Members of the Labor Zionist
Movement will convene at 8:30
p.m., Thursday, in the Rose Sit-
tig Cohen Bldg. to nominate and
elect a board of trustees to be
the governing body of the Labor
Zionist Institute, according' to
Morris Liebrernan, Institute sec-
retary.
Plans also will
be discussed for
cornerstone lay-
ing ceremonies
for the new
Center, now un-
der construction
on Schaefer
Hwy., north of
Lieberman
7 Mile Rd.
The cornerstone program will
be held at 12 noon, Sunday, at
the site of the building, and will
be attended by a number of im-
portant visitors from other com-
munities.
Invitations have been mailed
to all members of the Labor
Zionist Movement, including
Farband, LZOA, Pioneer Women
and Habonirn, to officers of
leading local organizations and
community leaders.
A youth committee breakfast
meeting, which the young ele-
ment of the Labor Zionist Move-
ment will attend, is scheduled to
precede the ceremonies, and will
be held at .10:30 a.m., at Darby's
Restaurant.
Future plans of the movement
and youth's participation in
those activities will be outlined
to those present.
