Brith Shrine in Israel 6—DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Hebrew University Gets $150,000 from Three U.S. Donors Friday, June 3, 1955 JERUSALEM, (JTA) — The Hebrew University announced receipt of three gifts totaling $150,000 from American donors. The largest gift came from Harry Kangesser of Cleveland, who contributed $100,000 to the University's building fund in memory of his brother. Mr. Kangesser is •a member of the board of directors of the Amer- ican Friends of the University and was recently made a fellow of the University. A $25,000 gift was made by Adolph Ullman of Boston, long active in behalf of the Univer- sity who recently became a member of the board of the American Friends of the Univer- sity.
