DETROIT JEWISH NEWS JLC Asks SOviet to Liberate Jews NEW YORK, (JTA)—President Eisenhower sent greetings to Adolph Held, national chairman of the Jewish Labor Committee, on the occasion of his '76th birthday. Similar greetings were received by the Jewish Labor Committee for Mr. Held from Adlai Stevenson, Austrian Vice Chancellor Dr. Adolph Schaerf, former British Foreign Secre- tary Herbert Morrison and many other men of national and in- ternational importance. They were presented to Mr. Held at a special session of the national convention of the Jewish. Labor Committee. .
