white and pink flowers formed
the setting of a beautiful cere-
mony last Sunday which united
in marriage Elaine Thelma
Fishman and Harvey Sidney
Weiss. • • •
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fishman, of
Tyler Ave., and Mr. Weiss is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Weiss,
of Steel Ave. Rabbi Moses Lehr-
man performed the candlelight,
double - ring ceremony, which
was solemnized at Cong. Bnai
Moshe.
The bride chose a gown of
chantilly lace over nylon • net,
which was highlighted by a
leaf motif of iridescent sequins
and pearls which outlined the
bodice, I ormed the portrait
neckline, and was carried out
even to the long sleeves.
The skirt fell in tiers over the
nylon net, and ended in a long,
sweeping train. Her headpiece
was a tiara adorned with se-
quins and pearls, and held in
place a fingertip veil of French
illusion. Her flowers were white
orchids attached to a - white
Bible.
Arlene' Fishman, cousin of the
bride, was maid of honor, while
serving as bridesmaids were
Phyllis Fishman, Harriet Gaba
and Lorraine Hirschman, her
cousins, and Mrs. Lloyd Fish-
man and Mrs. Sheldon Fishman,
her sisters-in-law. Joanne Gaba,
Joyce Weinstein, other cousins of
the bride, and her sister, Ava
Fishman, were her flower girls.
Philip Weiss was his brother's
best man, and ushers included
Louis Hirschman, Stuart Fish-
man and Bernard Offen, cousins
of the bride, and Lloyd and
Sheldon Fishman, her brothers,
Carl Weiss, the bridegroom's
brother was the ring bearer.
Following a dinner and re-
ception in the synagogue social
hall, the bridal couple left for
a honeymoon in New York City.
Upon their return they will re-
side at 18506 Indiana.
Among the out-of-town guests
here for the wedding were Mrs.
Rose Hershman, of Toronto, Mrs.
Rose Shumacher and Mr. and
Mrs. Dan Cohn, of Chicago, Mrs.
Sol Snyder, of Newark, N. J.
and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Holtz,
of Deal, N, J.
