Group of the City of Hope will
meet at 9 p.m., April 2, in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lip-

be made for the group's second
annual games party on April 24,
at the Pythian Temple.
Mrs. Pearl Tarnopol, president

ganization's first year of exist-
ence, over $1,500 was raised for
the City of Hope medical insti-

Highlighting a week of or-
ganizational activity in Detroit,
Rabbi Harold Cohen, national
field director of Mizrachi Hat-
zair (youth) of America, hailed
the formation of three new Miz-
rachi youth chapters here.
A co-ed teen-age chapter has
ben formed under the leader-
ship-rrf Harry Kasansky, Wayne
University graduate student, and
two junior chapters (ages 10 to
12) have been organized under
the leadership of Seymour Tere-
belo.
Groups active ha establishing
the youth organizations were
Fannie Gluck Chapter, Mizrachi
Women, Mrs. Bertha Spilman,
president; Northwest Israel
Synagogue, Rabbi Leo Y. Gold-
man; and Mizrachi Organiza-

Severin Turel, Polish - born
pianist who made his American
debut in Detroit a year ago as
soloist with the Center Sym-
phony Orchestra will play a re-
turn engagement here on April
5, in the Davison Jewish. Center.
His featured presentation will
be Chopin's Piano Concerto in
B Minor. The concert, the fifth
in a series by the Center Sym-
phony, will also include Dvorak's
New World Symphony and Mo-
zart's Magic Flute Overture.
