Passover Month
At - Young Israel

Following the Talmudic dic-
tum which states that 30 days
prior to Passover one should
delve into the holidays obser-
vance, members of the Young
Israel Center of Oak-Woods
have , embarked on a . "Passover
Month" program.
Beginning last Sunday when
the Hebrew and Sunday schools
began emphasizing the celebra-
tion of Passover in their curri-
culum; all departments of the
Center are planning various ac-
tivities.
The Bible Study Group, which
meets at 5:30 p.m., each Satur-
day, under the guidance of Rab-
bi Yaa.kov I. Hornnick, has be-
gun examining the holiday's
customs and ceremonies.
The Wednesday evening Adult
Study Group has scheduled a
workshop on "Passover for the
Housewife," to be held this Wed-
nesday and again March 30. The
second workshop will be a lea--
ture of the Sisterhood monthly .

A Passover Kiddie Party and
model seder will be held on April
3, -during which children of the
congregation's schools will pre-
sent a program, "Out of Bond-
age, 1955.!
Sabbath services also have
been gauged according to the
holiday. Services will be at 6:30
p.m , today, and at 9 am. Sat-
urday.
