True Sisters to Host
National Leaders
Officers and board members of
United Order of True Sisters will
be hostesses at a tea from 2 to
5 p.m., Sunday, in honor of the
visit here of Mrs. Hortense
Schlesinger, national president,
and Mrs. Charles Miller, national
vice-president. The tea is to be
held at the home of Mrs. Nathan
Shafkind, local vice-president.
Mrs. Alan Colman, president,
states that a general meeting is
planned for 12:30 p.m., Tuesday,
at the Davison Center. Mrs.
Schlesinger and Mrs. Miller will
speak and receive special honors.
A skit, written and directed by
Mrs. Ira Blumenthal, program
chairman, will be presented by
members. The national leaders
are currently on their bi-annual
tour of True Sister lodges
throughout the nation.
