MRS.

PHILIP BAKST

18

Beneath a setting of white
and coral gladioli, Jean Mirsky
and Philip Bakst repeated their
marital vows in a candlelight
ceremony recently in Shaar
Hashomayim Synagogue, . n
Windsor. Rabbi Samuel S. So
ll-
man officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Minsky, of
Tecumseh Rd., Windsor. The
bridegroom's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Sewel Bakst, of Aylmer
Ave., also in Windsor.
The new Mrs. Bakst chose a
gown of chantilly lace over pure
seed satin. The fitted bodice
was accented by a portrait neck-
line and long pointed sleeves
Which were studded with sequins
and seed pearls. Her bouffant
skirt fell in folds which formed
a cathedral train. A Juliet cap,
embedded with sequins and seed
pearls, held in place her finger,.
tip veil of French illusion, and
she carried a Bible with white
orchids, stephanotis and white
edged. streamers.
Bernice Mirsky, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor, and
bridesmaids were Geraldine
Goldman, Sally Lyons and Mari.;.
lyn Miller. Marilyn Bakst, the
bridegroom's niece, was flower
girl.
Lou Bakst, brother of the
bridegroom, was best man, while
seating the guests were Morris
Minsky, Isadore Goldbaum and
David Glaser.
Following dinner and a re-
ceptiOn, the couple left for a
honeymoon in Chicago. On their
return, they will take up resi-
dence in Detroit.
