Mrs. Tourover, a Zionist for
over 25 years, worked closely
with Supreme ' Court - Justice
Louis D. Brandeis. Before her
election in 1939 to the national
board, she was president of the
Washington 'Chapter and presi-
dent of the Eastern Seaboard
Region.
She has also served as a na-
tional vice-president, and has
been a delegate to several World
Zionist Congresses.

Argentine's Chief Rabbi

In United States for Visit

NEW YORK, (JTA) — Rabbi
Amrarn Blau, Chief Rabbi of Ar-
gentina,. arrived here following
a 'visit to Israel during which he
conferred with numerous per-
sonalities on Jewish religious and
educational problems.
Rabbi Blau, who is also profes-
sor of the Hebrew chair estab-
lished at the University of
Buenos Aires,• will remain in the
United States for about two
weeks, du;ing which he will visit
a number of American universi-
ties and other institutions of
higher learning.
