Shaarey Zedek Scouts to Perform
At Annual Scout-0-1'1mila Feb. 6

All scouting units connected with Cong. Shaarey Zedek will
be featured at the 11th annual Scout-0 7Rama sponsored by the
synagague's Men's Club at 2 p.m., Sunday, in the
' congregation's
social hall. Planning the event are these seouting leaders, from

It will demonstrate the skills acquired in the various scouting
activities. The public is invited. Parents particularly. are urged
to accompany their children for a first-hand report on scouting
accomplishments. Refreshments will be served following the per-
formance.

Temple Israel to Name Hall for Dr. Frani

Louis H. Schostak, president of
Temple Israel, announces that
the board of trustees of the con-
gregation has acted to bestow
upon its founding Rabbi, Dr.
Leon Fram, the honor of nam-
ing the social hall of temple,
the Leon Pram Hall. '

The social hail is to be the
prinCipal room of the Activities
Building,' which the • congrega-
tion plans to erect adjacent to
the sanctuary. A multi-purpose
room, it is to be used for a vari-
ety of educational, cultural and
social programs, for children's
holiday celebrations, f o r • youth
social affairs, for concerts, dra-
matics, dancing, lectures, recep-
tions, dinners 'and supplemen-
tary religious services.

new Cambridge Synagogue,
which is scheduled for comple-
tion shortly.,
Reports were given by Albert
Burke, • president; Alex Kraft
and Harry Yoimg, building com-
mittee chairmen; David Grainer,
fund-raising ,chairma n, and
Rabbi Jadob Chinitz.
Announcement was made of
several large eontributioris to
the building fund, including
building materials by Sam Bonin
and a donation of carpeting and
tiling by Abe Nusbauni.
When completed in time for
Passover, the' new Cambridge
annex will seat 800 people. New
membership :is welcomed in both
the synagogue and its religious
school, which now numbers 300
pupils.
On Sunday, the Men's .Club
will hold its- third annual square
dance in the synagogue social
hall. Dancing begins at 9 .p. m.,
with Jim. Schultheis as caller..
Hy Lenard and Herb Hyman,

The congregation's Sunday
school is marking the obServ-
