Israel Sends Torah to Sephardic Jews in Montgomery, Alabama

To Highlight Concert

The Jewish Community Cen-
ter and Hashofar Society for the
Advancement of Jewish Music
will celebrate Jewish Music
Month with - a concert devoted
to music by Jewish. composers
at 8:30 p. m., Feb. 19, in the
Davison Jewish Center.
The concert will feature Mar-
ko. Rothmuller, eminent Euro-
pean baritone, who will make
his Detroit debut at the concert.
Rothmuller will be accompa-
niecik at -the piano by Milton Set-
zer. Assisting artists will be
Ernst Wallfisch, violinist, with
Lory Wallfisch at the 'piano.
Tickets will be available in
advance at the Woodward and
Davison Centers.

ed a "Sefer Torah" which, like
the majority of Montgomery's
Sephardic Jews, originated on
the island of Rhodes, in the
Dodecanese.
