In service for 30 months, Lt.
Daniel was stationed in Texas
and Colorado before leaving for
Fairford in July of this year.
He has been able to visit regu-
larly with two relatives in Lon-
don, and has also traveled to
Scotland where he has 23 rela-
tives.
In letters to his parents, Lt.
Daniel writes the he goes to the

ways on the lookout for a new
restaurant where he can get a
good Jewish meal, one of the
chief things he misses in being
away from home.

Speech Contest Winner
At Oak-Woods Service

Tonight, at 8:30, Young Israel
Center of Oak-Woods will have
its Hanukah service and month-
ly Oneg Shabbat, and the in-
auguration ceremony of the 30
youngsters who recently entered
the synagogue's Hebrew School.
The youngster who will have
won the speech contest sponsor-
ed by the center will speak at
this service.
The program will include
singing of Hanukah songs and
refreshments.
Rabbi Momnick's sermon will
be "Macabees 1955".
The synagogues Hanukah pro-
gram will close with a party by
its Sisterhood, Sunday, 8:30 p.m.
