ices Sunday afternoon, at the

Tuxedo Jewish Center, in tribute
to Other Goldberg, pioneer De-
troit labor Zionist, announce-
ment was made of the inscrip-
tion of his name in the Golden
Book of the Jewish National
Fund in Jerusalem.
The presentation of the Gold-
en Book certificate to Mrs. Gold-
berg was made by Chaim Wien-
ner of Branch 79 of the Farband.
Simon Richardson, who pre-
sided at the memorial meeting,
which was attended by an over-
flow gathering of more than 300
people, read selections from the
book of Job. Others who spoke
in tribute to the departed Zion-
ist pioneer were Benjamin Lan-
kin, Philip Slomovitz, Wolf Sny-
der and M. Ginsburg, who read
from Mr. Goldberg's correspond-
ence to indicate his wide inter-
ests in Israel. Zionism and Jew=1
ish education. William Gayman
chanted the El Molei Rachamim.
Announcement was made that
a special project in tribute to
Mr. Goldberg is planned in be -
