To implement these plans and
to operate its technical schools
in 19 countries, the World ORT
Union executive committee
authorized a budget totaling
$3,600,000 for 1955, representing
an increase of $500,000 over the
current year, Dr. Haber report-
ed.

tack on the isolation of Israel
from the other countries of the
Middle East within the frame-
work of the United Nations Edu-
cational, Scientific and Cultural
Organization was delivered here
by Arieh Kubovy, Israel Minister
to Argentina and Uruguay, who
heads the Israel delegation at
the current UNESCO session
here.
Dr. Kubovy warned the Arab

East is as vain an enterprise as
