To Honor Goldstein
At Israel Bond Rally

Peter S. Goldstein will receive
a Certificate of Honor from the
Louis Marshall Lodge of Bnai
Brith for "distinguished services
and inspired leadership in Bnai
Brith's national effort in behalf
of the State of Israel Bond cam-
paign," Sunda y, at the Israel
bond program, "Israel, Molly and
Hugh," in Beth Aaron Hall.
Called the "Israel Bond Award
of the Month," the special scroll
will be presented to Goldstein
by Arnold Michlin, president of
Marshall Lodge.
Goldstein, w h o represented
Detroit in the National Busi-
nessmen's Commission to Israel,
is a member of the national Is-
rael bond board of governors
and a trustee of the Develop-
ment Issue of Israel Bonds. Be-
side his Bnai Brith activities,
he is a member of the boards
of Hebrew Benevolent Society
and Adas Shalom, and a mem-
ber of Histadrut, Bereznitzer,
Pinsker and Mogilover Societies.

The family of the late Max
Gould acknowledges with grate-
ful appreciation the many kind
expressions of sympathy extend-
ed by relatives and friends dur-
ing the family's recent bereave-
ment.

Twenty-four series, including
190 models of 1955 Ford trucks
ranging from 30-ton tandem-
axle "Big Jobs" down to F-100
pickups, all designed to make
money for operators on every
hauling job, were introduced by
• Ford dealers throughout the
country.
Ford's five truck engines,
built exclusively for the truck
lines, include six and V-8 en-
gines. Three engines have in-
creased horespower and com-
pression ratios.
The 1955 models have new
larger parking lights and larger,
shield-shaped tail lights.

"Congress in Session," an all-day
workshop will be held on Wed-
nesday, Dec. 15, at Temple Is-
rael. The sessions in the day's
program will deal with Congress
aims and achievements.
Many techniques, including
visual aids, are planned for the
"Congress in Session" Institute,
which will be conducted by four
national leaders of American
Jewish Congress. They are Mrs.
Thelma Richman, chairman of
the national executive commit-
tee; Mrs. Beatrice Sabaroff, na-
tional world Jewish affairs and
Israel chair ma n; Mrs. Jean
Schnee, national membership
chairman, and Mrs. Fanny Gold-
