Bnai Brith Reports Openings in Saginaw Community in Multitude of Vocations

WASHINGTON ; D.C. — Com-
pared with the number of em-
ployed persons in other large
cities and metropolitan areas,
the Saginaw area is under-
represented in nine professional
and semi-professional job fields,
according to an occupation ref-
erence guide just published by
the national office of the Bnai
Brith Vocational Service Bureau.
The fields are architecture,
dentistry, law, photography,
medicine, dental technology,

theraphy, veterinary medicine
and real estate.
The new guide shows that
there is only one lawyer in the
Saginaw area for every 1,430
persons, while the nation as a
whole has one practitioner for
every 830 persons.
Statistics also indicate possi-
bly more room for architects in
the Saginaw area where there
is only one architect for every
12,500 persons, while the nation

as a whole has one for every
5,900. In comparison with the
national picture, there are few
physical and occupational ther-
apists here. This area has one
therapist for every 11,200 in-
habitants ( while the ratio for
the United States is one for
every 5,900 persons.
Similarly, Saginaw has only
one physician or surgeon for
every 1,000 persons, while the
nation as a whole has one for
every 780. , It has one real estate

agent for each 1,640 people com-
pared with a national ratio of
one for every 1,060 people.
Such fields as chiropractic,
optometry and osteopathy,
however, are over-represented in
Saginaw in comparison with
other cities and areas. This
area has almost double the pro-
portion of chiropractors and
osteopaths as the rest of the
country, and one and one-fifth
times the national ratio of op-

tometrists.

you see these cars. They are in tune with the
kind of fresh ideas and fresh feeling you are
seeking today in all the things you use.

Chrysler Corporation designers set out to

express the public's contemporary feeling for
form that flows from purpose to create cars
with a spirit which would capture and match'
the spirit of the people who would own and
drive them.

Out of this kind of thinking„ after months or
development, now come cars that reach out for
the road ahead and seem to be in motion even
when they are standing still. They have THE
