McNamara pointed to many
years of friendship to Israel.
He said he was unequivocally
opposed to the McCarran-Walt-
er Act and would fight for its
repeal.
McNamara, who is an execu-
tive with a Michigan construc-

dent of the Pipe Fitters Union

Among the planks in his plat-

car excise taxes, federal aid for
school construction, reduction

accelerated housing and slum

policy, new legislation replacing
the Taft-Hartley Act, increase
