Traveling Trophy for "outstand-
ing veterans service," it was an-
nounced by Mrs. Sarah Nemon,
president, who brought the
award back with her from the
national convention in Virginia.
The trophy will be on exhibit at
a meeting on Tuesday, in the
Memorial Home.

Adams, who,

troit on several
occasions, is the

turned from a visit to Israel

Heller.
In addition to his popularity ,
as a comedian, he is equally well
known as the author of two
books, "From Gags to Riches,"
from which he turned over $165,-
000 in royalties to the Damon
Runyon Cancer Fund, and "The
Curtain Never Falls."
Making his way through the
Borscht circuit, he • later ap-
peared as the star attraction at
New York's Copacabana and
Latin Quarter, the Beachcomber
Maxie's in
in Miami, an
Hollywood and
numerous other

popular night clubs. He has ap-
peared at the Elmwood Casino
here and at the old Downtown
Theater.
Currently, Adams is the star
of his own television show,
