Honor Wolf Kaplan on His Return • to Israel

l oaten:i

More than 100 persons jammed.
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rubin
K a p 1 a n, 17420 Pontchartrain
Drive, to bid "bon voyage" to
Mr. Kaplan's father, Wolf, on his
return to Israel. Many of those
attending purchased Israel
bonds as a personal tribute to
the citizen of Israel.
Accepting a Scroll of Honor,
with all the names of Bond buy-
ers present inscribed on it, the
elder Kaplan said, "I shall take
this Scroll back with me and
display it proudly to my fellow
Israelis as concrete evidence

that the Jews of Detroit stand
firm with their brothers and
sisters across the water."
A musical program was pre-
sented by Mildred Nehamkin
Zimbalist, singer-pianist f r o m
Cleveland.
The affair was presented in.
cooperation with Bnai Brith
Pisgah Lodge and Chapter, in
their campaign to raise $100,000
in Israel bond sales this year.
