Arab Leader Tells
Americans There's
No Bias in Israel

NAZARETH, (JTA)—There is
no discrimination against Arabs
who are citizens of the State of
Israel, an Arab deputy to the Is-
rael Parliament, Aid Addin Zau-
bi, told visiting American labor
leaders here.'
The Americans, seven of whom
are leaders of large trade unions
affiliated with both the AFL and
the CIO, visited this all-Arab
city in the course of their tour
of the country to study labor
conditions and labor-manage-
ment relations.
The Arab minority in this
country, Deputy Zaubi said, re-
ceive "all the state services and
privileges to which all other citi-
zens are entitled." The Arab citi-
zens here, he told the U. S. labor
delegation, hope that the Amer-
ican labor • movement, together
with their government, will help
improve the relations between
Israel and her Arab neighbors.
"Our government," he said, "has
, made every effort to attain
I peace with its neighbors. Unfor-
tunately, all proposals have been
rejected."

Turkey Decides That
Arab Countries Must
Accept Israel's Existance

ISTANBUL, (JTA)—The Turk-
ish government is of the opinion
that Israel is a reality and that
the Arabs must accept the fact
that Israel has come to stay, it
was indicated following a week-
long conference of Turkish dip-
lomatic representatives in Mid-
dle Eastern countries.
The conference, which was at-
tended by President D j el a1
Bayar of Turkey, as well as by
Premier Adnan Menderes, heard
reports from Turkish envoys in
the Arab countries and in Israel,
and came to the conclusion that
there should be no deviation
from the policy of neutrality be-
tween. Israel and the Arab lands
which has been followed by Tur-
key since soon after the recog-
nition of Israel in 1948.
