Rabbi Isidor B. Hoffman,

counsellor to Jewish students
at Columbia University in
New York, will preach on "Or-
der Out of Chaos" and "Can

parallel services in the social
hall. Cantor A. A. Rosenfeld
will chant the Musaf service,
while Rev. William Weinman
chants at the Schachris serv-
ice.
Two junior congregation serv-
ices are planned, with young-
sters, 6 to 12 meeting in the
Rosman Assembly Hall, and
those 13 to 17 holding services of
their own in the religious school
building.
Cong. Ahavas Achim
"The Judge, the Attorney and
the Case" and "Nature, Society
and God" are the sermon topics
chosen by Rabbi Jacob M. Chin-
itz for the holidays. Services are
at 6 p.m., in the evening and at
8 a.m., in the morning. Rabbi
Chinitz is assisted by Cantor
Mendel Stawis and Mordecai
Elk.
A junior _service for youth 8 to
16 is planned in the United He-
brew School building, and a baby
sitting service for the very
young is available.

Rabbi Hayim Donin and Can-
tor Hyman J. Adler will conduct
sabbath services at 6:30 p.m.,
today, and at 8:45 a.m., Satur-
day.
Rosh Hashanah services are
at 6 p.m., evenings, and 7:45
a.m., each morning. Rabbi Do-
nim will preach on "Shofros-
The Basis of Judaism" and "The
Burdens of Life." Cantor Adler
will be assisted by the choir, un-
der the direction of Abe Silver.

Rabbi Israel I. Halpern will
interpret the Torah portion
"Nitzavim-Vayelech" at Satur-
day services. During the holi-
days, Rabbi Halpern and Rabbi
Joseph Thumim will alternate in
the conduct of the services,
which begin at 6 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Cantor Eugene Greenfield will
chant the service.
Northwest Israel Synagogue
Sabbath services will be held
at 6 p.m., today, and at 9 a.m.,
Saturday. Rabbi Leo Goldman
will speak on "All the People of
Israel." The Bar Mitzvah of
Milton Simon Zafron and Mich-
ael Lawrence Adelson, will be ob-
served.
Rosh Hashanah services will
be held at 6 p.m., each evening
with morning services at 8 a.m.
