Israel Forms Trade Pacts
With Scandinavian Lands
An Is-
ral-Norwegian trade pact involv-
ing the exchange of goods valued
at over $3,500,000, w a s an-
nounced here. Norway will sup-
ply Israel with fish, fish prod-
ucts, chemicals, aluminum and
paper in exchange for citrus
products, cars and textiles. This
is the fourth consecutive trade
agreement between the two
states.
Israel has also concluded a
one-year trade pact with the
Netherlands which provides for
Holland to export 16,000,000
guilders ($4,211,000) worth of
goods. The rate of exchange has
been changed to bring the Is-
raeli pound and the Dutch
guilder into the same relation-
ship as the Israeli pound and
the dollar.
