Turover Aid Honors Mr. and Mrs. A. Geller

A surprise anniversary party
was given last week by the Tur-
over Aid Society in honor of Mr.
and Mrs. A. Geller, long-time
members of the organization.
Mr. Geller is vice-president of
the Society, vice-president of
Cong. Ezras Achim and treasur-
er of the Turover Cemetery As-
sociation. Mrs. Geller now is
acting president of Turover
Ladies Auxiliary.
Besides the many tributes
paid them for their efforts in
behalf of organizational work,
the Gellers were further hon-
ored on the occasion of their
40th wedding anniversary. Sam
Dr e y f us was arrangements
chairman, and Solomon Rubin,

a past president, was toast-
master.
Present to see their' parents
honored were Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Geller and Mr. and Mrs.
Nathan Weisberg.
In honor of the Bar Mitzvah
of their grandson, Mr. and Mrs.
A. Lipson recently presented the
Turover Society with a Bar
Mitzvah cake which was served
at the group's meeting.

M. Stollman Groups commit-
tee for the State of Israel
Bonds, and has aided every im-
portant communal movement.
Mr. Stollman expressed confi-
dence that a large segment of
the community which highly
regards Abe Nusbaum for his
devotion to its welfare, "will re-
spond to this tribute to him,
and will participate in complet-
in the Forest of 10,000 trees
in his honor."

Jericho Lodge to Hold
Memorial Service Oct. 5

Jericho Lodge, Independent
Order of Oddfellows, will con-
tinue its custom, initiated seven
years ago, of setting aside one
of the group's meeting nights
for a memorial for departed
members.
This year's program, in which
families and friends of the de-
parted will participate, will be
held at 9 p.m., Oct. 5, at Jericho
Temple, 11331 Linwood. Rabbi
Samuel H. Prero, of Young Is-
rael, will officiate at the serv-
ice.
Since some of the families
who would normally participate
in the program are unable to be
contacted personally because of
changes in addresses and other
reasons, Lodge officials are re-
questing the presence of all
