while 59 had to be rejected.
Doors were closed at 9:30 p.m.,
with an estimated 500 people
waiting to give blood.
To accommodate those who
had to be turned away, Bnai
Brith will hold a special blood
drive from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Oct.
5, at Red Cross headquarters,
153 E. Elizabeth.
Marty Horowitz, proprietor of
Marty's Delicatessen, who prepar-
