Annual Technion
Banquet Dec. 12

At a board meeting of the
Detroit Chapter of the Ameri-
can Technion Society, Ben Wilk,
president of the chapter, an-
nounced that Sunday, Dec. 12,
has been decided upon as the
date for this year's annual din-
ner.
The chapter plans to conclude
its drive for the $300,000 Low-
dermilk Agricultural Research
building. $230,000 of this sum
has been raised during the past
two years. Mr: Wilk expressed
the hope that General Yaacov
Dori, former Chief- of Staff of
the Israeli Army and now presi-
dent of the Technion in Haifa,
would be available as the prin-
cipal banquet speaker. Mr. Wilk
also reported on the important
engineering research work which
is now going on at the school,
