The all-day sessions, starting at 9:30 a. m., were called "to help Israel meet the threat posed by recent disturbing de- velopments affecting the rela- tionship between Israel and the Middle East and between Israel and the United Nations." Kasle said he expects 300 civic leaders from the entire state to attend the conference. Formerly Flint bond chairman, president of the Flint Jewish Community Council and president of Con- gregation Beth Israel, Kasle ha.7, served as chairman of the Flint United Jewish Appeal. Together with his brothers, Abe of Detroit, and Sam and Joe of Toledo, he has ranked with national leaders in Israel bond sales and pur- chases.
