On Sept. 19 and 20, Eartha
Kitt will sing for the benefit ofi
many hospitalized veterans.
The dates mark the world
premier of Leonard Sillman's
latest production, "Mrs. Patter-.
son." The tickets for the Sunday
and Monday night performances
are being _handled by two local
Jewish War Veterans' posts as
a' fund-raising affair.
Lt. Raymond Zussman and Lt.
Roy F. Green Posts and Auxili-
aries announce that all funds
derived from the ticket sales will
be used for their respective vet-
eran's rehabilitation programs.
Both posts have also an-
nounced that tickets purchased
for veterans • will be used to
take the veterans to dinner, be-
sides seeing the show.
"Mrs. Patterson," which will
premier at the Cass Theater,
is a play with a musical back-
ground. In this show, Miss Kitt
lauded by the celebrated, Mae
West as one of the "oomphiest"
women in show business, will
sing eight songs, doubling the
output of her sparkling-perform,.
ance in "New Faces."

High Holidays at Northwest Is-
rael Synagogue will hold regu-
lar sessions, beginning at 8 p.m.,
Saturday, at the synagogue,
17376 Wyoming, to assign seats
and distribute tickets for the
holidays.
„ The committee will meet from
Sunday to Saturday, with the
exception of Friday, from 7 to 10
p.m., and on Sunday, from 8
a.m. to 12 noon. Harry Horowitz
and Gilbert Averbuch are chair-
men of the seating committee.
Holiday services will be con-
ducted by Rabbi Leo Y. Gold-
man, with the assistance of Can-
