Succeeds Kuester in Bonn

STUTTGART, (JTA)—The Ab-
den-Wuerttemberg indemnifica-
tion program, which was headed
by Otto Kuester until his sum-
mary dismissal, has been put in
temporary charge of Robert Per-
len, 70-year-old former presi-
dent of the Superior Court here.
A member of the board of the
local Jewish Community, Perlen
practiced as a private attorney
until the war. After the defeat
of the Nazi regime, he was ap-
pointed a judge, but retired sev-
eral years ago after reaching
the age limit.
