Mr. and Mrs. Jack Provizer, of 3008 Monterey, have returned
from a two-week visit with their daughter and son-in-law, Dr.
and Mrs. Morris Starkman. at Lawton, Okla. Dr. Starkman, who
serves in the U. S. Army Medical Corps just returned from service
in Korea, and will complete his term of duty at Fort Sill, Okla.
After his discharge in November, Dr. and Mrs. Starkman (she is
the former Betty Provizer) will take up residence in Detroit.
Dr. and Mrs. Leo Orecklin, of Oak Dr., have returned home
following a month's vacation in Europe.
Mrs. Frances Green and daughter, Bella, of Turner Ave., left
this week by plane for a trip of several weeks which will take
them to Washington, D. C., Atlantic City and other Eastern points.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton B. Singer, of Chicago, Ill., were the guests
last week of Mr. Singer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius M. Singer,
of 18272 San Juan. The younger Mr. Singer, a professor of social
sciences at the University of Chicago, is en route to India on a
research and study p':44ect. On the way, he and his wife will visit
in Israel. The Singers expect to return to the United States, via
the Pacific, next spring.
