Rabbi ARYEH LEV, director
of the Commission on Jewish
Chaplaincy of the National
Jewish Welfare Hoard, has been
designated by the Department
of the Air Force as a member
of an interfaith mission which
will go overseas to observe "the
religious, morale and moral pro-
gram" carried out by the Air
Force for servicemen in Europe
and North Africa, according to
word received from the Air Force
by Rabbi Joseph H. Lookstein,
N. Y., chairman of the Chap-
laincy commission. The religious
leaders who represent the major
U.S. Chaplaincy-endorsing bod-
ies, will depart on the 27-day
tour from Washington, D.C., on
Aug. 9. They will visit Air Force
installations in England, France,
Germany, Italy, Greece, French
Morocco and Libya.

pearls, and she carried a cascade
of white orchids and lilies of the
valley.

The bride's gown featured a
bodice of imported rosepointe
lace, with portrait neckline and
long, fitted sleeves. , Her bouffant
skirt of tulle featured self-lace
appliques and fell into a tradi-
tional train. •
Her tiered veil of illusion was
of fingertip length, and was
held in place by a matching
Juliet cap, studded with sequins.
She carried a Bible, centered
with white orchids and a cas-
cade of stephanotis.
Attending the bride as maid of
honor was Mildred Sherman.
Bridesmaids were Goldie Tukel,
Reva Rusnak of Youngstown, 0.,
and Jeanette Lutz, of Chicago.
Marsha Tukel was junior brides=
maid, and flower girl was Vivian
Polachek.
Floyd Tukel served his brother
as best man, and ushers were
Jerome Ettinger, Morris Tukel,
of New York City, Jerome Gren-
adier and Richard Heimlich,
junior usher. '
Out-of-town guests came from
New York City, Chicago, Ill ,
Cleveland, 0., Montreal, P.Q.,

and reception, the couple left on
an extended California honey-
