NEW YORK, (JTA), — A gar-
den village, to be known as Tel
Shalom, is being constructed on
a 100 dunam site in Israel for
Americans and others who wish
to retire in Israel, it was an-
nounced by the American Is-
rael Retirement Service.
The village will feature Amer..
ican-style buildings and house-
hold devices. It is aimed primar-
ily at American Jews who want
to retire to ISrael but who want
to live among American conven-
iences. The project is sponsored
by the African Palestine Invest-
ment Corporation, which is
headed by Jacob Geri, onetime
Israel Minister of Commerce,
and the South Afridan Building
Mortgage Bank.

of Eugene Morton Curtis in a re-
cent ceremony at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek. Rabbis Morris Adler and
Moses Lehrman officiated.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Hyman Katz, of 3783 W.
Buena Vista, wore a gown of
antique, Italian satin, trimmed
with lace and tiny seed pearls.
Her veil of fingertip length was
topped with a crown of hand--•
sewn seed pearls, and she car-
ried a bouquet of white orchids
and stephanotis.
The bride's younger sister,
Sherry Katz, was maid of honor,
and bridesmaids were Beverly
Ribiat, Sally Berk, Regina Curtis
and Doreen Curtis, the latter
two sisters of the bridegroom.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Theodore Curtis, of 19200
Canterbury, was served by
Manny Shane as best man,
and ushers included Gerald Gur-
vis, Moe Katz, Harold Katzman;
