Mrs. Robert Page, of Sussex Ave., recently entertained at a
bridal shower in the Sheraton Cadillac Hotel for Bette Louise
Aaron, at which 50 guests were present. The bride-elect, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. David B. Aaron, of Cambridge Rd., will wed
Melvyn David Wolf; son of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Wolf, of Rochester
Ave., on Aug. 22.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Engel, of 2685 Sturtevant, recently
honored their daughter, Marlene, with a sweet sixteen hay, ride
and square dance at Friendly Acres Ranch, Livonia. Among the
guests were Dave Appel, Marlene's • host, Rosalie Gorman, Mel
Eisenberg, Irene Shpargel, Milt Weiss, Beverly Goldsmith, Don

Mrs. Herbert William Gordon, nee Marilyn Limond, was ex-
tensively entertained, prior to her June 29 marriage at luncheons
and dinner parties given by Mesdames Louis Wolfgang, Ben
Arkin, Donald Rubin, Max Beal, Harry Park, Ben Hellen, Louis
Saferstein, Gerald Gordon, Oscar Feldman, Mildred Hutto, Helen
Limond, Abraham Miller, Ben Siegel, Harry Davis, Jack Bressler,
Manfield Mathis, Ben Schwartz, Sam Schwartz, Eugene Lastar,
Ramon Jacobs, Jack Cooper, Morey Gantz, Louis Rubin, Morris
Kosak, Sol Babbish, Sam Saxer, Irving Helper, Jack Katanick,
Sol Redstone, Harry Schwartz and Ben Gordon.
Mr. and Mrs. Moses P. Ellenson, of 2298 Glendale, were feted
at a dinner party on Sunday celebrating their 50th wedding anni-
versary. The dinner was tendered by their children, the Albert
E. Ellensons, Louis Ellensons, Harry B. Ellensons and Ben Jack-
sons. Also present were their five grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs.
Moses Ellenson have been residents of Detroit since 1919, and
helped to organize Cong. Shaarey Zion where Mr. Ellenson served
as president for many years.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Burns, formerly of Seward Ave„ have
moved into their new home at 24080 Rensselaer, Oak Park, Mich.

Center Mothers' Camp
To Open After 4th of July

The Jewish Community Cen-
ter camp for mothers will be
open again this summer, stated
Harry L. Jones, chairman of the
Center camping committee, who
added that arrangements have
been completed for the camp
season.
Again the camp will be lo-,
cated near Lexington, Mich., at
Glo-Rita Beach, on Lake Huron.
Accommodations can be made
for 30 campers at a time. Mary
Caplan, supervisor of the Moth-
ers' Club program, will again be
camp director.
The season will open just after
July 4, and extend through
Labor Day. For information, call

came the bride of Norman David
Katz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Katz, of 3785 Glendale, in a cere-
mony June 27, at the Statler
Hotel. Rabbis Richard C. Hertz
and Morris Adler officiated.
The bride wore a gown of
white silk mousseline de soie over
silk taffeta, highlighted by a
portrait neckline, outlined in ap-
pliques of corded Alencon lace.
The gown's skirt was bouffant
and was adorned with appliques
of the lace, which fell into a tra-
ditional train. Her veil of three-
tiere I silk illusion was of finger-
tip length, and was attached to
a cap of matching material. She
carried white spray orchids, cen-
tered with a large white orchid.
M r s. William Rattner, the
bride's sister, was matron of
honor, and Rena Katz was maid
of honor. Bridesmaids: included
Mrs. John Hopp, Helene Lapides
and Joan Karabelnik.
The bridegroom's brother, Dr.
Sidney Katz, was his best man,
and ushers were William H.
Frank, Jr., Dr. William Rattner,
Daniel Schechter and Neil
Schechter.
A reception at the Statler fol-
lowed the ceremony, after which
the couple left for two weeks in
Bermuda. On their return, the
couple will take up residence in
Huntington Woods, Mich.
Wally Cox and Bride
Pay Visit to Omena Inn
Wally Cox, famed comedian
from Detroit, is currently vaca-
tioning with his real-life bride,
Broadway dancing star, Marilyn
Gennaro, at Landis' Omena Inn,
in Omena, Mich.
The famous television enter-
tainer, better laiown to his
viewers as the timid and often
ludicrous Mr. Peepers, it will be
recalled, won national headlines
with two marriages in the space
of two weeks.
The first was his marriage to
Nancy Remington, his first and
only love on the Mr. Peepers
show, and his real-life marriage
to Miss Gennaro, who was a star
in the Broadway hit, "The Pa-
jama Game."
