Miss Katzman Miss Schecter
At the recent twelfth grade
graduation exercises of the
Cong. Shaarey Zedek Religious
School, Ruthe Ellen Katzman
and Sandra Schecter were
awarded the National Federa-
tion of Men's Club medals.
The recognition was given
both girls for outstanding lead-
ership in synagogue youth acti-
vities and for scholarship rec-
ognition. Both young women re-
ceived straight "A's" during
their 12 years in the religious
school.
The medals were presented by
Abe Satovsky, past president of
Shaarey Zedek's Men's Club. and
president of the Great Lakes Re-
gion of NFMC.
Abe Katzman, • chairman of
education for the Men's Club,
presented kiddush cups for
scholarship to the f ollowing
young people: Rebecca Mosen
and Margo Panush, eighth
grade; Donald Burke and
Sharon Safran, ninth grade; Ro-
chelle Nachman and Judith San-
ders, eleventh grade; and Sey-
mour Dubrinsky and Elissa
Panush, twelfth grade. A kid-
dush cup also was presented to
Abba Friedman, outgoing presi-
dent of the Junior Congregation.

At the final luncheon meeting
of the season, the Ladies Auxili-
ary of the Maimonides Medical
Society installed Mrs.. Louis
Shiovitz as president of the new
administration.

To Conclude Season

The Women's Division of Sho-
lem Aleichem Institute closes its
cultural activities for the season
with a farewell luncheon at 1
p.m., June 26, in the Institute
auditorium, 18495 Wyoming.
Mrs. Frances Driker will re-
port on the year's cultural ac-
complishments, and Mrs. , Man-
uel Shaw will
provide musical

voted to speakers, book reviewers
and current events discussions.
