New Camp Prayer Rook

•A father-son combination—
Rabbis Morris Silverman and
Hillel E. Silverman—have com-
piled a new prayerbook designed
expressly for summer camps,
youth conclaves and institutes.
The volume contains Hebrew
and English services for the sab-
bath and weekdays and Torah
and Haftorah readings for the
summer months. Prayers have
been translated into simple
language, and hymns and pray-
ers have been placed in proper
sequence to afford simplification.
In addition, a number of origi-
nal prayers and readings design-
ed especially for camp life have
been included.
