Annual confirmation services of Temple Israel will be held on
Sunday, June 6. A joint reception will be held that evening for
many of the confirmands at the Hotel Statler. At homes will be

Music Study Club Fete Wednesday

The Music Study Club of De- 1
troit will mark the beginning of ,
its 30th year with a combined
annual meeting and dinner-
dance at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday,
in the Park Shelton Hotel, an-
nounces Mrs. Joseph M. Markel,
president.
Guest artist of the evening will
be Ruth Meckler, winner of the
1952 Gwladys Luloff scholarship
award of the Music Study Club.
Miss Meckler also was runner-
up in the national Stillman-
Kelley auditions.

A feature of the event will be
the presentation of "Grace Be-
fore Meat," sung by the Triple
Trio, under the direction of Mrs.
Maurice Benyas. Sam Emmer
and his orchestra will play music
for dancing.
Guest of honor at the event
will be Mrs. Frank W. Coolidge,
president of the Michigan Fed-
eration of Music Clubs.

In a recent double-ring cere-
mony, at Holiday Manor, Reva
Wilson, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Michael R. Wilson, became
the bride of Harold M. Keller,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin
Keller. Rabbi Jacob E. Segal
and Cantor Hyman Adler of-
ficiated.
The bride wore a gown of
chantilly lace ending in a long
train. The neckline of illusion
was trimmed with tiny seed
pearls and iridescent sequins.
Atop her head was a crown of
seed pearls, from which fell. a
fingertip veil of illusion. She
carried a Bible, on which were
two white orchids . and sprigs of
stephanotis.
Mrs. Phillip Salomon was mat-
ron of honor, and Harriet Kel-
ler, sister of the bridegroom, was
maid of h o n o r. Bridesmaids
were Brenda Fried, Anita Feld-
than and Freda Rose Weinberg.
Michelle Selik was the flower
girl.
Marvin Gonek was the bride-
groom's best man, while ushers
included • Bernard Wilson and
Neil Wilson, brothers of the
bride, Richard Mendelsohn and
Jerome Clinton.
Following dinner and a recep-
tion, the couple honeymooned
to Florida, following which they
are residing on Steel Ave.
