Huai Brith Installation Rites
To Conclude Season's Events

Melvin Weisz, one of the
youngest local men to assume
presidency of the Greater De-
troit Bnai Brith Council, will be
installed into office in a cere-
mony at 8:30 p.m., June 15, in
the Italian Gardens of the
Sheraton Cadillac Hotel.

School, in the social studies de-
partment. Weisz is a graduate
of the University of Michigan,
and in 1945 received his mas-
ter's degree from U. of M. He
is a past president of Israel

June 1, at Holiday Manor. Mrs.
Gilbert Borenstein is new Chap-
ter president, while David Draz-
nin heads the Lodge. Chairmen
were Mrs. Gerald Goldberg and
Harry Rott, Mrs. Hy Burnstein
was presented the Chapter past
president's pin by Mrs. Alfred
Lakin, new president of the
Women's Council.

stallation dinner- dance is

cent graduate of Wayne Uni-
versity, will be one of the
recipients of the 10th annual
Alumni Award of the Art Edu-
cation Alumni Association of
Wayne, on June 18, in the uni-
versity's David D. Henry Lounge.
Mrs. Gold presently teaches art
at the Vandenberg School. The
award is based on high scholas-
tic average while in college and
outstanding achievement and
contribution in the field of edu-
