He expressed anxiety over thearming of Iraq by the United States and said 'that a strong Israel would mean peace in the Middle East. `Under God' Added to Pledge to the Flag The United States Senate last week adopted the resolution, proposed by Senator Ferguson, adding the words "under God" to the pledge of allegiance to the Flag. The pledge is to read: - "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation un- der God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
