Yehudah Schools, the following
18 men were elected as new
members of the board of direc-
tors:

Rubin Dubrinsky, Harry Green,
Louis Harris, Harold • Kaplan,
Sam Kaufer, Jerome Kelman,
Ben Kline, Joseph Kukes, Joseph
Lee, Jacob Nosanchuk, Nathan
Oleshansky, Sam Rosenberg, Mil-
ton Weiss, Aaron Weiswasser and
Sam Yuster.
The new board will meet in
June to choose officers and an
executive committee in accord-

Two Israelis, American
Win WJC Essay Awards
NEW YORK, (JTA)—Two Is-
raelis and an American carried
off the three 1953 Robert S.
Marcus Memorial Awards offer-
ed by the World Jewish Congress
in a contest designed to stimu-
late research a n d increased
knowledge of Jewish life.
The two Israelis, Joseph Neva-
da and Dr. Ruth Kestenberg-
Gladstein, shared the first and
second prizes, each receiving
$400. Dr. Abraham G. Duker,
sociologist, educator and author
of New York, received the third
prize of $200.
