Youngsters to Summer Camp

Montefiore Lodge, Free Sons of
Israel will conclude activities for
the season with a dinner, fol-
lowed by games and entertain-
ment, this Sunday evening, in
the Detroit Leland Hotel's Dyna-
mic Club Room.
At the program, a check repre-
senting the proceeds of various
fund-raising programs through-
out the year will be given to
Irwin Shaw, executive director
of the Jewish Community Cen-
ter, to provide a total of 48
weeks of campership for needy
children at Fresh Air Camp.

Mr. and Mrs. Philip Taubman,
of Monica Ave., announce the
recent marriage of Miss Lola
Mueller to their son, Samuel
Taubman. The wedding w a s
solemnized at the home of the
bride's cousins, Mr. and Mrs.
Ben Goldstein, of Birmingham,
Mich. Rabbi Jacob E. Segal and
Cantor Judah Goldring officiat-
ed. Following a honeymoon in
Jamaica, the couple is residing
on Covington Dr.
The new Mrs. Taubman chose
for her wedding an original
gown of white, Kativa taffeta
with a princess line bodice. Ap-
pliques of imported white pique
motifs dotted the gown, which
also featured shirred, bracelet-
length sleeves. Her bouffant skirt
ended in a sweep train, and a
three-tiered veil of finger-tip
length was attached to a tiny
bonnet of matching Kativa satin
and applique.

National Jewish Hospital at
Denver announces the appoint-
ment of Dr. PHILLIP A. KLIE-
GER, former associate in School
Health Service of the New York
State Education Department, as
assistant medical director.

New officers of the Suburban
Temple Sisterhood will be in-
stalled at a candlelight service
May 28 at the Ty4er School on
West Lincoln in Oak Park. Rabbi
Frank Rosenthal will conduct
the ceremony in conjunction
with the regular sabbath serv-
ices at 8:15 p.m.
Mrs. Maurice Weiner will be
installed as president. Mesdames
Harry Kretchmer, Joseph Malt-
zer, Jacob Kutchai and Sidney
Katzman will serve as vice-
presidents. Other officers include
Mesdames Abe Sacks, Irwin
Clamage and Derek Caplane,
secretaries; and Mrs. Sally
Werbe, treasurer. Newly-elected
directors are Mrs. Robert Zell
and Mrs. James Roe. Mrs. Mor-
ris Cohen and Mrs. Sigmund
Barna will remain as directors
for another year.

Circle Branches Outline
Program for the Week

Branch 1060 of the Workmen's
Circle will sponsor a home movie
night at 9 p.m., Saturday even-
ing, at the Center, 11529 Lin-
wood. Members will write, cos-
tume and prepare scenery for
