Child Rescue Women
Begin Camp Project

Mrs. Milton Kogan, president
of Northwest Child Rescue Wom-
en, this week announced the
appointment of Mrs. Joe Gordon
as chairman of a program to
underwrite camp vacation for
100 mentally retarded young-

sters.

Participating children will be
selected by the non-sectarian
Greater Detroit Association for
Retarded Chil-
dren. They will
attend Recrea-
tion Camp from
June 21 to 28,
the period set
aside by the De-
partment of
Parks and Rec-
reation especi-
ally for these
children.
In order to
raise funds ne- Mrs. Gordon

and other recreational facilities,
stated Mrs. Gordon, the Child

May 27, 8:15 p.m., at the Young
Israel Center to hear a review
of the season's activities • from
him and the Council's executive
