The Music Study Club of De-
troit and Tuesday Musicale will
play prominent roles in the an-
nual convention of the Michigan
Federation of Music Clubs, to
be held Monday to Wednesday,
at the Sheraton Cadillac Hotel,
states Mrs. Frank Coolidge, pres-
ident of MFMC.
Music Study Clubbers will
serve as hostesses for the cele-
brity luncheon on Wednesday
afternoon, in the Crystal Ball-
room. Mrs. Joseph Markel, presi-
dent, announces that Mrs. Ezra
Lipkin is chairman for the day,
and is assisted by Mrs. J. S.
Sauls, co-chairman, and Mrs.
Joseph Mehr, table decorations.
Seymour Lipkin, renowned
concert pianist, will be the guest
artist at the luncheon. Also fea-
tured will be the Club's Triple
Trio, led by Mrs. M. Benyas,
which will sing "Grace Before
Meal."
The Club's full choral group
will be featured in the massed
choral concert at 4 p.m., Mon-
day, in the Grand Ballroom.
Other convention highlights will
be the opening luncheon, host-
essed by Tuesday Musicale and
featuring the Young Artists Trio
(Ruth Meckler, pianist; Robert
Newkirk, cellist, and Jerome Ro-
sen, violinist).
Among the hostesses at the
celebrity luncheon will be Mes-
dames M. Benyas, J. Blum, A.
Brasch, S. Jackson, I. Mendelson,
J. S. Sauls, J. Scherr, J. Seltzer
